In cases where teeth and surrounding tissues are deteriorated or completely destroyed, in other words, lost due to various reasons, the prepared materials used to repair or replace them are called prosthesis.
What is the purpose of a prosthesis?
In prosthesis; while the patient's lost functions are tried to be regained, it is also aimed to correct the impaired speech and to have a better aesthetic appearance. In this way, while the largely lost oral health is restored, individuals who have to live with missing or damaged teeth in society are also supported psychologically.
Because individuals who have to continue their lives in this way (even for a while) first forget to smile. This causes functional disorders as well as damage to people's sense of self-confidence. The aim is to increase the quality of life of people with various prostheses made for such patients.
